Good Quality Card Reader ?
Monday, February 22nd, 2010i’ve read reviews for Sandisk and other Internal and External Card readers. I’ve recently upgraded my computer and have a free 3.5″ bay/slot where I could hook up an Internal Card Reader (i’ve got the space, why not use it, right ?)
then i was reading some Amazon reviews on a 5 in one reader San disk has for less than $30.. Not sure which do get, read reviews on Tiger Direct, New Egg, Amazon. and havent gotten really a Solid good review on a type of card reader.
what have you found that works for you, either external or internal that isn’t necessarily cheap, nor hi-dollar, but something that will be reliable and work well.

What Is A Good & Affordable Laptop?
Sunday, February 21st, 2010I am looking to spend $800 or less. I don’t know much about computer specifications and components, so I’m looking for some recommendations on what to look for in an affordable laptop. Some of the questions I have:
Vista or XP? I have no experience with Vista, but I have heard good and bad things. If I go with Vista, which version is best: Home, Premium, or Professional?
Processor: Pentium Celeron, Pentium Dual-core, AMD? I am clueless here. What is the best processor for the $?
Notebook manuf.: Which ones are the best for affordable laptops? Acer, Compaq, HP, Dell, etc?
Where to buy it? I have seen some good deals on Tiger Direct. I don’t like all the crapware that comes with a Dell, so I’m leaning away from them.
What other things should I be wary of in my search? Memory, I/O, etc?
